Uncertaintiy...

Well good day to all of you out there...it's been a while and I apologise for that!

Gosh, but i am trying to put it God's hands as I know he provides and all will turn out the way it's meant to...its just rather difficult to plan or do anything without knowing what awaits, but I guess thats why God wants us to trust in him?

Neways, im off to PE to visit family and my special punk who I haven't seen for almost 3 weeks! Im so excited as I haven't had leave this whole year!!

So to all of you...Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May 2009 be a brilliant year for everybody!

Friends With God...

this year our theme for Summer Camp was Friends with God. What an awesome concept...that God has chosen us,sinners to be his friends. He yearns for a friendship, a relationship with us. How amazing is that?

God as our friend is different to our friends on earth. Friends may come and go, may hurt or dissapoint you...BUT God will never leave your side.

As a leader on camp and part of the worship team,it was incredible to see people humble themselves and give there hearts for God to take control, to captivate them and to reveal his unconditional love.

God chose me...and you,so spend some time with Him everyday, thanking him for what he has done for you now and what he is still going to do in your life.

Leave Out All The Rest...

Linkin Park aren't one of my favourite bands...well til I heard this song. The words are so powerful and I just love it, so I thought I'd share it with you...

I dreamed I was missing, you were so scared
But no one would listen, 'cause no one else cared
After my dreaming I woke with this fear
What am I leaving when I'm done here?
So if you're asking me I want you to know...

[Chorus]
When my time comes forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
Don't resent me when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory
Leave out all the rest, leave out all the rest

Don't be afraid, I've taken my beating
I've shared what I made, I'm strong on the surface
Not all the way through, I've never been perfect
Nut neither have you
So if your asking me I want you to know...

[Chorus]

Forgetting all the hurt inside you learnt to hide so well
Pretending someone else can come and save my from myself
I can't be who you are

Hope when you read these words or even listen to them, that you can reflect on your own life...live each day to the ful with no regrets cause you never know when its your last...

Tribute to Samke Khumalo...

Although I didn't know you that well, you were always so polite and friendly when I saw you. My brother always spoke of you...what a great friend you were, a brother.

It's tradegic that you had to leave us, just as you were begging a new chapter in your life's journey, but you fulfilled your plan on earth and now God calls you to be with Him, in Heaven.

As headboy of St Charles College, you led by example with honour and pride. You made history being the 1st African headboy...it was no coincidence that you were chosen to lead the school. That was Gods plan for you, and you obeyed willingly and gave your all.

Now that you're physical being no longer dwells with us, you spirit will always remain in those people's lives you touched...and there were many.

Samke, I will remember you as a brother 2 my own brother, you 2 helped each other overcome so many obstacles and found joy in each others company and shared so many happy and funny moments.

So thank you for being the legend you were and will always be. May you find eternal happiness and bring comfort to those who are in mourning of your passing.

Thank you God for this mans life, although short, he did what was required of him and did us all proud. Please bless his families and give us all strength to comprehend and understand and may we see the everyday blessing in our lives even when we think that amidst the storm there cannot possibly be any light.

And all God's people said....Amen

Weak,Beaten,Bruised & Scarred...

Like a new born child, weak, helpless, defensless but with a distorted image....body bruised and scarred beyond recognition.

The hurt caused by somebody you love and should trust...devastating.

The realisation that your upbringing has been based on lies...

The perception of family members has been a lie...he actually isn't that bad, he was looking out 4 me but maybe didn't do it in the right manner...

The information been given by someone unexpected, that has never been spoken of...soul destroying...

The fact that the wrong person has been blamed all this time...hurts

The deciet, lies, anger and revenge that have controlled your life...that you have suffered under...that you have had to make sacrifices for 2 try survive....all a waste cos you didn't actually have to if she had just taken responsibility...

The burden you carry for the sake of others...is to heavy and has crushed you

We live in a fallen world...and I don't want to be a part of it anymore

Exciting Possibilities...

Hi punks....wow its been quite a while since I last blogged, just shows how crazy life has been. Haven't touched base with so many of my friends and family so I thought I'd share my potentially exciting news about my future...well at least next year. I have decided to apply for the childrens' pastor at our church (Wesley Methodist). I'm so excited about it...the new challenges it would entail, being around kids and watching them grow with Christ, I can't help but be excited and enthusiastic about the growth within the community.

It's so amazing how God works, it truely is. I was thinking that next year is going to be the worst and hardest year ever as my best friends are going overseas and i'm going to miss them SO MUCH. I was feeling very glum and down about what my life was going to be like next year. But every sunday when I went to church and read the notices, the advert for a Children's pastor kept staring at me, I ignored it despite people telling me to go for it...why would I, im stil a kid myself (not 4 2 much longer though). But the notices kept coming up and nobody was clearly applying. So I had a bit of a thinking session...ja take cover-a blonde thinking...some serious combustion happening lol! I want to eventually become an educational psychologist, which would ultimately lead me to work with kids...and then bingo I hit the jackpot. Maybe God was letting me see those recurring adverts for a reason, and maybe I should investigate it a bit more. I have been praying about it for a while now and will hopefully receive the info today and then make a final decision of whether I stand a chance or not and whether this is what God wants for me.

So hold thumbs and pray like crazy that things turn out the way they meant to be....

Jealousy...Green Eyed Monster

Why are we such jealous beings? Jealosuy if not recognised can consume your entire being....corrupting who you are with self doubt and can corrupt your most valuable relationships until you have none left. It is in our nature to feel jealous or envy somebody who is successful and seems to have everything...espcially when they make it seem so easy, like it didn't take much effort for them and here we struggle and strive for the same thing but are constantly facing obstacles and tasks set in place for us to grow...I bet if you asked those people how happy they were or how they have grown spritually through there success...the answer would be..."I never thought about that"

Jealousy is not a nice emotion to feel...well at least I hate it. it causes such unnecessary hurt and conflict just becasue you start doubting the strenght of your relationships and what they mean to the other people. But God knows that we are jealous...so is he. He gets jealous when wepay more attention to earthly things instead of him...he wants us to focus on him and give him our undivided attention.

So be encouraged that if you are with Him and in Him you will still be faced with times where jealosy may arise, but you will always have God on your side to guide you and equip you with the necessary knowledge and strength to fight it off.

Jealousy injures us with the dagger of self-doubt. ~Leslie Grimutter

He that is not jealous is not in love. ~St. Augustine

Letting Go...

Wow, this is a tough one. I battle with this a lot. Have you ever been hurt by a freindship or have got so much baggage that you look like an old lady hunched over?? Well I have, the kind of hurt that doesn't just go away over night, the kind of hurt that makes you feel worthless and not worth a breath. The famous question of why came to mind to. Well one night I had had enough so I started praying, asking God for his guidence, his strength, his healing hand to heal my crushed heart and also to take my suitcases. I fell alseep with such a peace about everything. Its amazing how a small conversation with God can change your life or your perspective on life. I now reaslise that there is a bigger picture in this and I can answer the famous question at last, although it still is hard somedays. I really have felt and learnt what it is to let go and to wake up with a smile on my face cos your smile might be what somebody really needs to see. God will never let you tackle or go through a storm that is too big for you, he wants us to grow in him, he does not want us to stagnate in our faith...he tests us in all realtionships and aspects of life, but often we are to caught up with the hurt or the heat of the moment, that we don't see that its actually going to make us stronger and that God is not deliberatley hurting you, he wants us to trust him with all our hurt, anxieties and happiness.

Have a baggage and hurt free week!:)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you." John 15:7

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30

Daddy's Girl...

Daddy's Poem

Her hair was up in a pony tail,
her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy's Day at school,
and she couldn't wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
that she probably should stay home.
Why the kids might not understand,
if she went to school alone

But she was not afraid;
she knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
of why he wasn't there today.

But still her mother worried,
for her to face this day alone.
And that was why once again,
she tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school
eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees
a dad who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in back,
for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
anxious in their seats.

One by one the teacher called
a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
as seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
for a man who wasn't there.

'Where's her daddy at?'
she heard a boy call out.
'She probably doesn't have one,'
another student dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,
she heard a daddy say,
'Looks like another deadbeat dad,
too busy to waste his day.'

The words did not offend her,
as she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher,
who told her to go on.

And with hands behind her back,
slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
came words incredibly unique.

'My Daddy couldn't be here,
because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know.
All about my daddy,
and how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories
he taught me to ride my bike.
He surprised me with pink roses,
and taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
and ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him.
I'm not standing here alone.

'Cause my daddy's always with me,
even though we are apart
I know because he told me,
he'll forever be in my heart'.

With that, her little hand reached up,
and lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere here in the crowd of dads,
her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love
of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
doing what was right.
And when she dropped her hand back down,
staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
but its message clear and loud.

'I love my daddy very much,
he's my shining star.
And if he could, he'd be here,
but heaven's just too far.

You see he was a policeman
and died just this past year
When airplanes hit the towers
and taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,
it's like he never went away.'
And then she closed her eyes,
and saw him there that day.

And to her mothers amazement,
she witnessed with surprise.
A room full of daddies and children,
all starting to close their eyes.
Who knows what they saw before them,
who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
they saw him at her side.

'I know you're with me Daddy,'
to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for a moment,
by the love of her shining star.
And given the gift of believing,
that heaven is never too far.

Spring is here...

How wonderful it is to see the blades of green grass sprouting, the flowers starting to bloom and blossom, the cloud formations in the blue blue sky, the rich orange and pink sunsets in the late afternoon, the cool breeze after a boiling hot day. Spring and Autumn are my favourite seasons of all time! "Seasons may change, winter to spring but I love you until the end of time." lyrics from onw of my favourite movies Moulin Rouge...

How can anyone say that there is no God, when we see his creation and the beauty of it every waking second, and how we are so blessed by it, how it can brighten up a day that has been filled with saddness and anger. Although I work in an office all day adn don't get to see much of the beautiful sunny day, Im still blessed that I can wake up to see the sun shining or trying to peep through the clouds and to watch the stars as they burn brightly in the dark night sky. I could spend hours just lying on the grass gazing into the blue sky and watch it turn from day to night and gaze upon the milloins of tiny fires that light the night sky...if only i could

Have a blessed day, may it be filled with fresh spring air and may you go out and look at God's beauty when you leave your house or work.

"Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness." Acts 14:17

"The sun has one kind of splendour, the moon another and the stars another, and star differs from star in splendour." 1 Corinthians 15:41

Dear Dad...

It's been 14 years since you left us, although it feels like just a day ago. Oh how I miss those bakkie rides all over the farm and the cows chasing you round the bakkie and how you taught us everything you knew about farming yet we couldn't understand it but nodded in amazement and excitement that oneday this would be ours to enjoy with our children. How I miss sitting in your lap listening to your stories and how I miss you talking to me in german, (mine kinde) and how I miss the goodnight kiss after you tucked me into my big bed. If only we knew what was going to happen, that our dreams and excitement would be shattered by your absence, by your mistakes. I will never forget the last time I saw you, that image will stay in my mind forever. Looking back, it hurts so much to have seen you like that, so helpless like a new born child. Its excruciating that I remember you like that. I do not blame you for some of the choices that you made, but I cannot judge you, i do not have that right as I was a mere child of 5, how was I to understand the concept of family feud and pressure?

At times you feel so far away, as though you have left my heart and forgotten about me and I about you, it saddens me greatly that you are not here in flesh to share my life with you. How I long for a father in flesh to touch, to hold onto and to feel the warmth and comfort in your arms. How I long to hear the words, I love you and to see the actions of your love. There are days when I hate you for leaving me but I soon understand that it is/ws God's will and that there is a purpose for it however hard that may be to understand and live with. I get so jealous of my friends who have such awesome dads and who boast about them, but they are entitled to, I would to.

I know mom misses you very much as do all of us. But it must sadden you too to see how things have become, how they have turned into sour grapes, how your family is so divided and always fighting. Im sorry, it souldn't be that way, we are trying to make things right but it's not easy. i have so many questions to ask you, so many things I am uncertain about, whether truth has been spoken or if I have been told nothing but lies about you and who you were as a father, husband and brother.

I hope that we (boetie and I) have made you proud and that you have not been dissapointed or angry with us for the choices we have made.

I miss you more then any words can describe. I pray that you will be by my side always and that I never forget you and you never forget me.

Am@zInG Gr@cÉ...

Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I am found, was blind but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fears relieved. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed.

My chains are gone, I've been set free. My God my Saviour has ransomed me, and like a flood his mercy reigns, Undending love, Amazing grace

The Lord has promised good to me his word my hope secures. He will my sheild and portion be, as long as life endures.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine, but God who called me here below will be forever mine, will be forever mine, You are forever mine.

Awesome thing to think about!

1 Corinthians 1:3 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
1 Corinthians 16:23 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with you.
Ephesians 2:8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.
Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY - FLIPSYDE

Happy Birthday...so make a wish

Please accept my apologies, wonder what would have been
Would you've been a little angel or an angel of sin?
Tom-boy running around, hanging with all the guys.
Or a little tough boy with beautiful brown eyes?
I payed for the murder before they determined the sex
Choosing our life over your life meant your death
And you never got a chance to even open your eyes
Sometimes I wonder as a fetus if you faught for your life?
Would you have been a little genius in love with math?
Would you have played in your schoolclothes and made me mad?
Would you have been a little rapper like your papa da Piper?
Would you have made me quit smokin' by finding one of my lighters?
I wonder about your skintone and shape of your nose?
And the way you would have laughed and talked fast or slow?
Think about it every year, so I picked up a pen
Happy birthday, love you whoever you woulda been
Happy birthday...

Chorus:
All I thought was a dream (make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed (happy birthday)
All I thought was a dream (make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed

I made a mistake!

I've got a millon excuses to why you died
Bet the people got their own reasons for homicide
Who's to say it woulda worked, and who's to say it wouldn't have?
I was young and strugglin' but old enough to be your dad
The fear of being a father has never disappeared
Pondering frequently while I'm zippin' on my beer
My vision of a family was artificial and fake
So when it came time to create I made a mistake
Now you've got a little brother maybe he's really you?
Maybe you really forgave us knowin' we was confused?
Maybe everytime that he smiles it's you proudly knowin' that your father's doin' the right thing now?
I never tell a woman what to do with her body
But if she don't love children then we can't party
Think about it every year, so I picked up a pen
Happy birthday, love you whoever you woulda been
Happy birthday...

Chorus:
All I thought was a dream (make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed (happy birthday)
All I thought was a dream (yeah, make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed

I made a mistake!

And from the heavens to the womb to the heavens again
From the endin' to the endin', never got to begin
Maybe one day we could meet face to face?
In a place without time and space
Happy birthday...

From the heavens to the womb to the heavens again
From the endin' to the endin', never got to begin
Maybe one day we could meet face to face?
In a place without time and space
Happy birthday...

Chorus:
All I thought was a dream (make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed (happy birthday)
All I thought was a dream (make a wish)
Was as real as it seemed

I made a mistake...!

Really just love this song at the moment...it's so peaceful although its so sad if you listen to the lyrics...

R@gë...

Hi punks of the world...so today i'm making a public recognition that I have an anger/rage problem. I knew I had an issue with rage esp when im behind the steering wheel but never knew it was serious until last night when my best friend pointed things out to me....I was really hurt at first but then as we spoke more, I fully understood where she was coming from and it upset me so much that I was aloowing my anger to control me and my relationships. So i have decided to try and calm down and get my anger under control. So the reason why I am telling you all is that I need to be held accountable, so i'm asking you all to be my accountability partners. For those of you who interact with me on a regular basis, please let me know when I get out of hand and "loose it" as I really want to improve on this area of my life so I can help others. I found some cool qoutes about anger that were really inspiring...take a look:

He who angers you conquers you. ~Elizabeth Kenny

For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happiness. ~Author Unknown

Anger is one letter short of danger. ~Author Unknown

Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die. ~Malachy McCourt

Consider how much more you often suffer from your anger and grief, than from those very things for which you are angry and grieved. ~Marcus Antonius

I also would like to apologise to those people who I have hurt or disappointed due to my anger.
Today is a fresh start to a relatively calmer life, I know that anger is part of human emotions but there are ways to express it without it being destructive.

Hope you all have a god filled day!

Uncle Angus...

Hey punks...wow what a busy weekend, but what a gr8 weekend! On Saturday I went to King's Park to hear Angus Buchan...wow what an energetic "old" man, I couldn't believe how much energy he had for God and how postive he was about our country. It really inspired me to start thinking more positively and to try and stop all teh negativity that surrounds us everyday. The worship was indescribable, I just felt the presence of God over that stadium and to see thousands of people stand and lift their voices and prasie God was such a joyful sight. So I encourage all of you to strive for positivity and live in hope. Have a gr8 week and may it be filled with God's grace and love. Amen!

"I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!" Philippians 3:10-11

"RëD DëVîL..."

This a warning to all driver's....I have finally gotten a car...a red Atos hence "Red Devil". So please be on the lookout and stay clear of the road when you see me coming...hehehe or you can smile and wave...smile and wave boys, smile and wave hahaha

Wow what an awesome feeling, to have your own independence and what a difference having your own car makes. I'm so excited, i'm finally growing up, learning to stand on my own two feet...which is not easy I might add but nevertheless its mostly fun and excting, also scary cos' you dont know what the future holds, but thats why God is an awesome God. He slowly reveals our future to us day by day and through our life experiences.

So may you all have a blessed day filled with $uNs#îNë and joy!:)

Am@zInGnë$s...

Ok so I don't know about you guys but I had the most AWESOME weekend....God is just amazing! I had such fun spending time with friends which is so important, I think.

Last night in particular made my weekend so awesome. Philip's sermon was just fantastic, althouhg I felt like a target board and what he preached on was being fired at me...it really convicted me and I am really going to make the effort to make a change. It was just awesome to see how after I had taken in what Philip had said how rejuvinated I felt with God's spirit as I haven't been feeling that great about life and God in general over the past week. I was left standing in awe last night as I realised just how great God is and how I am so lucky and privillaged to be surrounded by his creation every second of my existence.

This was the reading behind the sermon... Colossians 3:1-11

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all."

So this week go out there, be filled with God's love and share the Good News! Have a great week

God bless

"Sweet Poison"

Ok so when I got this e-mail I was horrified as I don't drink exessive amounts of diet collddrinks but seeing as I am pre-diabetic I am not supposed to have the normal, but after erading this e-mail I am goign to stick to good old water and fruit juice and no more sweets at all. I know it says in Colossian 2:8 "See to it that no-one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather then on Christ." that we shouldn't believe everything we read and hear but I found this amazing. Let me know what you think.

In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms and she was having a hard time getting around. Walking was a major chore. It took everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain. By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on 24 various prescription medications. The doctors could not determine what was wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick she just knew she was dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc., in her oldest daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care of. She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida (basically in a wheelchair) for March 22nd. On March 19, I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS. I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if she drank diet soda? She told me that she did. As a matter
of fact, she was getting ready to crack one open that moment. I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda! I e-mailed her an article my friend, a lawyer, had sent. My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told m e she had s topped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk! The muscle spasms went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better. She told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when she got home. Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind. In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame in the diet soda...and literally dying a slow and miserable death. When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery. And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life. "If it is labelled 'SUGAR FREE' ; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on "ASPARTAME," marketed as 'Nutra Sweet,' 'Equal,' and 'Spoonful.' In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject. I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetener exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple
sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error. Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, Methanol toxicity is! Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victim usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas. In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We've seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly. This also applies to cases of tinnitus and fibromyalgia. During a lecture, I said, "If you are using ASPARTAME (Nutra Sweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting, pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!" People were jumping up during the lecture saying, "I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?" Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels! Many products are fortified with it! This is a serious problem. Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice; a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence! Diet soda is NOT a diet product! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you crave carbohydrates. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight! These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat
cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve "tissue specimens." Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we SHOULD NOT store it IN our body! Dr. H. J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the "diet products" and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period. Aspartame is especially dangerous for diabetics. We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy , in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame. The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance. Treating diabetes is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and it then deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage. Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well. Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behaviour when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called "behaviour modification prescription drugs" (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never NEEDED in the first place! Most of these children were being "poisoned" on a daily basis with the very foods that were "better for them than sugar." It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome.
Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy. Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweeteners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison." Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included in 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets. Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspartame has EXPIRED! There are now over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more introduced, everybody wants a "piece of the Aspartame pie." I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is. And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association and the Conference of the American College of Physicians? This has been recently exposed in the New York Times. These [organizations] cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products. Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children and infants The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioural symptoms.
The bill was killed. It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you're informed now! YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW!

Temptation...

Ok so this is a serious topic for me. These past 2 weeks and especially this last weekend have been a weak point in my spiritual and emotional walk with God. I have been ignoring God and disobeying him...turns out this isn't so cool. Things started falling apart in my life and I couldn't understand why...but I figured it out after finishing a box of tissues and deep soul searching. A very good friend of mine encouraged me to read Romans 7:14-25.

"We know that the law is spiritual;but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. I do not understand what I do. For what I wnat to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do;no, the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work int eh members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wrethced man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God's law; but in teh sinful nature a slave to the law of sin."

This pretty much describes exactly how I felt, I couldn't have expressed it more accurately myself. its then that I realsied that if what im feeling is written in the Bible then there is hope for me and everyone yet. I realsied that if I am to be free from my sins forever, I have got to let God take total control over my life and body. Tempation plays a huge role in our lives today and all I can say is that God will never let you go thorugh anything you cannot handle, he always provides a way out and is with you each and every second to help you, to be your light and Saviour!

Just to say a very big thank you to my close friends (you know who you are) for all helping me and loving me, you have no idea how I appreciated it!

Let me know what your thoughts on temptaion are....
